“Blasted Church Winery in Okanagan Falls, their name inspired by a church that required blasting to loosen the nails so it could be deconstructed and moved, is a wit. Signs: “Thou Shalt Not Smoke or Vape,” “Heavenly Wine Ahead.” Wines: “Hell Froze Over,” “Holy Moly,” “Swear to God.” We very much enjoyed their 2024 Viognier blended with Marsanne. We doted on their dessert port, Amen, deep but spritely. We heard a distant pack of coyotes yipping as though pining for a taste,” write the Greenbergs.
